Checking on Boxes

From: Julie (oceanwytch@yahoo.com) | Date: 2004-08-30 14:01:44 UTC
While boxing this weekend, I checked on some other boxes I knew were
in the area. It occured to me that maybe not everyone would want
their boxes randomly checked on. How do people feel about this?

I've always checked on any box I happen to know is in the area. In the last
two months just about all of them have been out of their proper location,
boxes open, or ziplocs torn. My thought is this.. if everyone checked on any
box they happen to be going by (if of course it was safe to do so with
complete discretion), we may save some of them from being destroyed.

I do that too, if I'm near a box I've already found and there isn't a lot of
traffic in the area. It's usually just a quick check to make sure everything's
sealed up ok, in the right spot and well-hidden. I make sure I take a path
to the box that's a little indirect to help keep the social path traffic down.

... I do just what Czeltic Girl does, and would certainly appreciate
anyone doing the same for mine...

i think if a person cares enough to check on my boxes then that is fantastic
especially since i don't always get to check on my own as often as i would
like.
